This has been a very valuable review.
I have received a lot of valuable feedback,
many suggestions for how to improve the library,
both interface, implementation and docs.
I will soon post a revised version,
that takes your feedback into account.
And then, if John decides to accept the library,
he and I can merge the overlapping parts
of this library and the Math Toolkit.
