[Boost-users] Problem with autotools + options

1. How check does and where boost is by Autotools(autoconf+automake)?
I try to check by AC_CHECK_HEADERS(boost/filesystem/path.hpp,,exit), but
it don't work.
2. How in program_options use the options from list?
For example
--method=[http,ftp]
