On a separate (but related) point:
With my push from yesterday the Boost.Python is now able to build and
test the NumPy extension using Boost.Build. It would be good to make
sure that the Boost development environment includes the relevant Python
NumPy package(s) so this extension is built and tested. (This will also
be relevant for whoever prepares Boost binary packages.)
