Subject: [Boost-build] bjam truncating compiler errors?

I build bjam from the 1.36 sources, and it seems that it is often
truncating the error output from gcc, which makes it kinda hard to
figure out why my files aren't compiling. :( It looks like it's just
losing the last bufferfull it's reading from a pipe.
This is on Fedora 9 with gcc 4.3.0.
Anyone seen anything similar?
