Hello Roland,
Using "import /path/to/file/my-tool ;" is what I originally tried (see
original post) but it doesn't work.
The error is as follows (a rule defined within the module is not found):
/opt/boost-build/kernel/modules.jam:66: in modules.call-in
rule my-tool.some-rule unknown in module my-tool.
