Just an FYI... I'm working on some performance improvements to BBv2
given the recent discussion. I'm taking Noel's test and optimizing. It's
not exactly fair, but he's from the game development community, he
should be familiar with vendors optimizing drivers for specific tests :-)
Anyway, I'm up to a 20% speedup with only some minor tweaks.
