Well in BBv1 we have PREFDLL and SUFDLL. And in BBv2 we have the:
type.set-generated-target-suffix IMPORT_LIB : : lib ;
So it would make sense to have a:
type.set-target-prefix SHARED_LIB : MACOSX : lib ;
Or to make it part of the type registration:
type SHARED_LIB : lib dylib : LIB : MACOSX ;
