uuid.lib is a part of the Platform SDK that contains the MS GUID entries for
the various COM interfaces. Isn't this in the 6.5 libs folders or the
Platform SDK distribution (avilable at
http://www.microsoft.com/msdownload/platformsdk/sdkupdate/)?
