everything seems to be working on XP. Well done!
The only problem I found was a couple of warnings when linking DLLs:
LINK : warning LNK4075: ignoring '/EDITANDCONTINUE' due to '/INCREMENTAL:NO'
specification
and
warning: using independent target
<..!__libname__/msvc-7.0/debug>__libname__.rsp
