As one of the people that voiced strong opposition against a Python based
build system, I'm not scared but excited ;).
Admittedly this is largely because the political situation for me has
changed, making Python no longer an impossible thing to get installed. I
can still see other people being in a position where they have to fight
political battles in this regard. But if SCons can offer so much more
(and I believe it can!), then it's probably worth such battles any way.
