Subject: [boost] [sync] Needs a 'master' branch

I created a Github issue that the sync library needs a 'master' branch,
even if its just the current 'develop' branch. Please let's get this
done. It is more than just irritating that:
git submodule foreach --recursive git checkoout master
stops and fails because a Boost library does not have a 'master' branch.
