In the past, students have been encouraged to discuss specific
proposals on the mailing list. That means that you would have to
identify a project that you would like to work on from that list, or
some other idea that you might have. Discussing your idea on the
mailing list will help you get a better idea of concrete requirements,
and help us gauge your commitment to the project.
