Oh sorry, I don't use tortoise much so I can't really help you with
that. It's always very slow for me, but I put that down to the age of
my PC (it's prehistoric by today's standards, I just keep it around
for testing). But recently it's been pretty slow on my mac as well.
I'll add you to the release notes and website now.
