Converting between Unicode encodings should be a separate library
anyway. Was there not someone working on such a cross-platform library
for Boost ? What happened to it ? Was it scrapped because of possible
Unicode support in C++0x ?
I apologize for taking this thread off-topic but I think that any
library using a particular Unicode encoding for its strings should be
exempt from the criticism that it does not have functionality dealing
with converting between Unicode encodings.
