What's about #3517 "stream<file_descriptor_source> closes supplied descriptor"?
The milestone for it is 1.41.
I expect one of the following:
1) It's stated that this is a non-issue.
2) It is resolved in the 1.41 release.
3) Release notes contain information about this as a "known issue".
