I'm review the serialization library with the eye of making it threadsafe.
I think that very useful in this effort would be lightweight threadsafe
singleton.
There are tons of cyberbits spilled on this topic - but much to
my suprise and disappointment, no boost library for this purpose.
Someone please tell me its here but that I just haven't found it.
