I think this is a fabulous idea, but you knew that already ;?)
And as a data point, we have been using Boost TR1 implementation from
the 1.34 RC branch for around 4 months now, and it works great for us -
at least with the TR1 components we are using. Ported all our projects
over a couple of nights, several (TR1) components at a time.
