Here is a new version.
I have removed the cpp file.
It is now a single header file only.
The static initializations have been replaced by preprocessor stuff.
It relies on <boost/detail/endian.hpp> to determine endianness,
so if that does not work, then nothing works.
I can not log in to the vault.
What is the problem?
