Done (in 1.34 branch only, the head branch will be merged from here later on
anyway, no?). I added a license statement to the documentation files as well
(these were missing this completely) and tried to gather the corresponding
information from the CVS. If I happened to forget somebody to mention
accordingly, please add yourself!
