Can you send the code of your "finder-fs" so that I can check it in
visual 7.1 (non-reference counted implementation 16 small string
optimization)?
I suspect string/creation will be higher since you surely won't modify
strings returned by path and reference counting will improve that.
It's a shame I haven't got your 200 GB mp3 collection!
