Bargain basement logos start around $500 for a half-respectable
design house. Depends on exact terms and conditions (like ownership,
etc.), but expect it to go up quickly from that. What would be
nicer is if a few design shops entered the contest and provided a
logo pro bono, or were willing to do some type of trade for services.
