The notus project has been setup on sf.

It has several public forums including the Design
forum.
Please feel free to move this discussion there.
I'll be posting a detailed proposal of basic design
ideas soon which we can hopefully use as a starting
point for discussions. IMO, designing a scaleable
notus core is a critical issue for the whole idea. We
don't want notus to be just an another MFC or Qt with
an endless fixed hierarchy of classes. I hope that we
can come up with a truly innovative design using the
ideas of generic programming.
