Have you looked at PETE (Portable Expression Template Engine)
(http://www.acl.lanl.gov/pete/), and how it compares? Perhaps you could have
provided a comparison.
I think it could be good with a library that abstracts away the ET-part, if
that is practical, although I think I'll let the authors for the libraries
using ET speak for themselves.
