Thanks for the help with my multi_array question. The
responses didn't really solve my problem, but they
were instructive.
I've decided to swithc horses and use Giovanni
Bavestrelli's "Class Template for a Generic Resizable
N Dimensional Array". It seems to offer the same
functions as multi_array, but I can have an empty
array and specify the dimensions at run-time.
