We've had really lengthy discussions about formatting. In addition to the
format library already accepted, there are two or three alternatives in
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/boost/files/
If someone has a format approach that is a "stroke of genius", or even
"significantly better", then we might want to consider a submission.
Particularly if someone other than the author agrees with the
characterization. But let's not waste public bandwidth on a "little bit
more expressive" formatters.
