The formal review of Douglas Gregor's Signals library begins today
and runs
through February 27, 2002.
This library supplies classes for Signals and Slots programming,
which is a
generalized callback mechanism which manages the lifetime of the
related
objects.
The submission is available in the Boost Files section. See
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/boost/files/Callback/signals-
20020214.tgz or
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/boost/files/Callback/signals-
20020214.zip. The
archives contain Jamfiles for building the libraries, but these
Jamfiles
require the latest Boost.Build from the CVS. The archives contain a
Readme
file explaining how to build using the Boost.Build system.
For information about submitting a Formal Review, see
http://www.boost.org/more/formal_review_process.htm.
Be sure to say whether or not you think the library should be
accepted by Boost.
The Formal Review manager is Bill Kempf.
