If we're inventing the next version of the language, I suggest this:
dest <- f();
I suppose there are those that don't put whitespace around binary operators
that would complain that x<-y could be "x less than negated y" instead of
the newly invented "move y to x." Nevertheless, It's visually clear what's
happening.
