It would help if maintainers would update (root)index.htm when they make a
major change.
There was also a suggestion to include an automatically generated change
log. I tried a couple of programs from various web sites. No immediate
luck finding something that worked, and was both suitable and
easy-to-use. But it hasn't entirely been forgotten.
If anyone else wants to try generating a change log from CVS and presenting
it to us for comments, that would be a help.
