Unfortunately, not everyone will be able to upgrade compilers right away. I
have a client with a large set of cross-platform libraries and applications. It
takes months to coordinate all the testing for a compiler upgrade. This is
partially because compiler upgrades are a relatively low priority. So given
that your schedule is correct I expect VC6 will be around for another year
easily....
