I just uploaded version 7 of "more_io.zip" to the vault. Unfortunately,
there is a problem with the new C-based stream classes: I can't get input to
work. The example "c_io_test.cpp" doesn't receive anything when it trys
reading. Am I missing some subtle point of C I/O?
