we've developed a rather small class that my be useful to those who don't
need all the power of regex.
there is a doxygen document at http://rudbek.com
the link to the Class is near the bottom and should be rather obvious.
If this looks like a 'good thing' we'll boostify the source and submit it
for consideration. BTW, we're still in the process of writing the
'newgrep' program, so the docs on everything else are a tad sparse.
