Problem solved. The key was the following line from my previous message:
> >Cannot access /cvsroot/boost /CVSROOT
^
Note the space. Be sure your preferences setting that looks like
":ext:abrahams_at_[hidden]:/cvsroot/boost"
doesn't include an extra space at the end.
