Well, its been a couple of weeks now since I submitted
the latest version of my functional.hpp to the vault,
incorporating the helpful suggestions made by John Maddock.
Since I haven't come up with any further improvements
myself, and no-one else has had anything else to say, I
guess it's time to request a formal review.
