Robert -
I have not committed
anything to the repo, I was only posting for the sake of others benefit (so
they would have a work around).
Just to clarify the
error condition which existed:
- When constructing
multiple independent xml archives, on multiple threads. (Consider
multiple sockets on a server getting different data from different
ports.) At random moments in time, you will receive asserts &&
|| crashes (on Windows).
If there is a better
solution, I'm all for it. However the binding of spirit to be thread
safe, causes the binding of //boost_thread
If I can help
out in any way, please let me know.
Cheers,
Tim

No, I've just put into
my own copy so I can test
before I check it in. I've also made an
inquiry
to the spirt people to find out more details of
what these
macros do an the dependency between
spirit and threading
libraries.
